There’s nothing quite like driving to one of your favorite spots on the Blue Ridge Parkway, beautiful couple excited to have their love captured in the setting sun only to arrive at a blockade and a sign touting that the road is closed. A momentary panic and twinge of disappointment sets in, but there’s little time to mourn the loss of plan A.
With golden hour approaching, I did the next best thing I could think, and we found a lovely overlook for these guys to enjoy their love for each other. Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, but with a little creativity and willingness to try something different, we can wind up with something even more beautiful than we imagined!
