When Emily & Tony reached out about an adventure session while they were on vacation in Asheville, I was super excited to find them the grand vista of their dreams, but the weather had different plans. We got to fully embrace the true intention of adventure portrait sessions: being present, experiencing a beautiful moment, and creating the memories to feel that freedom every time the photograph is seen.
Emily & Tony snuggled into each other as the clouds billowed across the sky, damp from the rain that misted us during the entire hike up. It was messy and cool, the type of wild magic that can only come from the intoxicating concoction of Mother Nature and freedom.
