I’m Rachel, a professional wanderer who happens to love carrying digital and film cameras everywhere I go. I spent 10 years learning and photographing my life and adventures just for fun until one day I realized that the stress and effort of being responsible for capturing my own memories perfectly was ruining my experience. I knew I wasn’t the only one.

I believe in being present and being focused on the experience at hand, not on a camera, a selfie stick, a tripod, or worrying about getting the “perfect” pose and backdrop. That’s why I started photographing others’ elopements and adventures. Instead of being distracted by a phone or camera during your life’s greatest moments, I want you to let me carry that weight for you. I want you to laugh and cry and run and jump and forget about the rest of the world, all while I make sure your memories are recorded for you to look back on fondly later. I want to help you live your adventure fully.

When I’m not behind the camera you can find me in my self-built darkroom, baking up a baklava, or at one of my husband’s shows. I travel as frequently as possible, strapping my skis onto my camper van and heading to the mountains or strapping my backpack on and heading to the airport.
